Online Science Assistant Professor

Job Summary

Teaching primarily online didactic courses, the remote part-time Online Science Assistant Professor will develop, administer, and evaluate learners in general education courses while advising and mentoring students to monitor their performance.

Key responsibilities

• Teach online general education courses and assist learners with study problems
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records of learners
• Submit required reports and participate in faculty meetings and activities

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant subject from an accredited institution
• 1+ years of experience in higher education, preferably in online education
• 1+ years of teaching experience, with online teaching preferred
• Minimum of 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline being taught
