Job Summary
Seeking experienced and enthusiastic Science Tutors, the contract-based Online Science Tutor will provide personalized remote tutoring sessions for students from 6th grade through college level, focusing on various science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while allowing tutors to set their own schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online tutoring sessions in multiple science subjects to students
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment while ensuring effective communication with students and parents
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
- At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience
- Proven experience in online tutoring within the past 2 years
- Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards
