Job Summary
A university needs applicants for an opening for a Online Social Emotional Learning Professor.
Must be able to:
- Email/record and post a welcome letter to their assigned students one week prior to the start of course
- Record and post a video introduction which will be placed in each course
- Answer all student emails within two calendar days which is likely to require responding over weekends
Position Requirements Include:
- Doctorate degree with focus in Education and/or Social Emotional Learning, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of direct teaching experience at the Master and/or Doctoral level
- Three to five (3-5) years of professional and/or research experience in Social Emotional Learning
- Excellent skills in teaching online, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to learning
- Must have personal computer and ability to facilitate online instruction
- Skill in operating equipment, such as personal computer, fax, copier, phone systems
