Job Summary

An online education company has a current position open for a Online Social Studies Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Devote weekly hours to live synchronous sessions (hours are determined by state/client needs)
  • Provide students with rich and targeted feedback
  • Adhere to state specific requirements as specified by manager

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Currently certified to teach with a Social Studies endorsement listed on their teaching license
  • HQT status in their state and expectation to maintain this certification for the duration of their employment
  • Minimum six (6) months of student teaching experience
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to complete additional trainings as required
  • Ability to welcome students to course, communicate requirements, encourage participation, and maintain synchronous office hours
