Job Summary

An online education company has an open position for an Online Special Education Substitute Teacher.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Completing all grading, generating progress reports, and conducting parent conferences
• Providing synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions
• Communicating with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
• Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
• Strong technology skills
• Microsoft OS and Microsoft Office equipped computer
• Customer focused approach and team-player track record
• Ability to work occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
