Job Summary

A healthcare staffing company needs applicants for an opening for a Online Special Education Teacher in Mundelein.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Prepare student education plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members
• Design instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum
• Monitor student progress, participates in review and revision of student’s IEP, as appropriate

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university with an emphasis in appropriate field preferred
• Endorsement: Learning Behaviour Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• Current TB results and/or chest X-ray
• Full command, verbal and written, of the English language
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching, Standard Secondary Teaching, and Standard Special Teaching preferred
• Transcripts Preferred
