Online Student Affairs Assistant Dean

Job Summary

To enhance online student engagement and retention, the full-time Online Student Affairs Assistant Dean will develop and implement programs, assist the Dean in promoting strategies for student satisfaction, and create opportunities for student life in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Dean of Student Affairs in promoting strategies and programs for student satisfaction
• Create policies, programs, and services that support the University's mission and foster student development
• Collaborate with various departments to achieve school objectives for enrollment and persistence

Required qualifications

• A master's degree in counseling, Student Personnel Administration, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in student affairs, preferably in an online post-secondary institution
• Knowledge of current practices and theories in student affairs in higher education
• Proven track record of developing student life and engagement in a fully virtual environment
• Understanding of federal policies related to higher education, such as ADA and Title IX
