Job Summary

To inspire and educate junior high students in coding, the part-time Online Teacher for JH JavaScript Game Design will deliver engaging live lessons remotely, utilizing innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to foster an interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality live lessons tailored to a diverse group of international students
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy student access

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at middle/junior high school (Grades 6-8) in a school setting
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Knowledge of a US middle school/junior high curriculum and age-appropriate teaching approaches
