Job Summary

To support a dynamic online learning environment, the part-time Online Teacher for JH Physical Science 8 will plan and deliver engaging live lessons, assess student progress, and utilize digital tools to foster an interactive classroom experience remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality live lessons tailored to a diverse group of junior high students
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, maintaining organization and accessibility of assignments and assessments

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the middle/junior high school level (Grades 6-8)
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Physical Science or related field
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Knowledge of a US middle school/junior high curriculum and age-appropriate teaching approaches
