Job Summary

To support a vibrant online learning environment, the part-time Online Teacher for JH Social Studies 7 will plan and deliver engaging live lessons on world geography, history, and cultures to junior high students from around the globe in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons tailored to a diverse, international group of students
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching methods to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy student access

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at middle/junior high school (Grades 6-8) in a school setting
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Social Studies, or a related field
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education
• Knowledge of a US middle school/junior high curriculum and age-appropriate teaching approaches
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the team
