An online university is filling a position for a Online Web Services Senior Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing web applications and web services using Java, SOAP, REST, XML, HTTP, and other web technologies.
- Delivering high quality projects on time, through ability to design architecture, write high quality code, and execute effective unit tests
- Analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with Web Services development: REST/SOAP/SOA/XML/HTML
- Good understanding of issue troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into functional software using quality code best practices
