Job Summary

A fully accredited private non-profit university designed for working adults is seeking a Remote Online Professional Tutor.

Must be able to:

  • Review and offer feedback on essays submitted through the online submission system
  • Determine and prepare appropriate resources to supplement 1-on-1 tutoring sessions
  • Collaborate with CII and OWMC staff to identify writing projects both creative and academic to complete

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, rhetoric/composition, creative writing or related field
  • Experience with computer-enhanced writing instruction, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise feedback to students, teachers, and staff
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
  • Skilled in Google Suite tools for collaboration with team members and students
