Job Summary
To support families navigating the Ontario Autism Program, the contract Ontario Care Coordinator will provide essential guidance and assistance remotely, focusing on educating families about service options, maintaining applicant information, and conducting needs assessments for children and youth with autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate families on the Ontario Autism Program, ensuring they understand available options and services
- Conduct determination of needs interviews to assess support requirements and funding for Core Clinical Services
- Engage in team meetings and training sessions to contribute to operational goals and quality measures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in human services or a related discipline
- Experience working with families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities
- Demonstrated understanding of the developmental services sector and community resources
- Fluency in written and oral French, Mandarin, or Cantonese is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
