Ontario Licensed Finance Director
Job Summary
Leading the finance function in a hybrid full-time capacity, the Ontario Licensed Finance Director will manage financial planning and analysis, act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, and oversee reporting and cash management while preparing materials for the board.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain live weekly forecasts and lead the annual budgeting process
- Act as a thought partner to the COO and CEO, providing forward-looking analysis for strategic decisions
- Own the monthly and quarterly close processes and prepare board and investor materials in collaboration with the COO
Required qualifications
- CPA, CA or CMA designation
- Seven or more years of progressive finance experience, particularly in FP&A
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription business, with knowledge of various revenue models
- Proven ability to prepare board materials and cash forecasts in partnership with executive leadership
- Fluency in building live, rolling financial models
