Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret insurance policy wording, determine coverages, and set reserves on assigned claims
  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle accident benefits claims of moderate to high complexity
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, legislative requirements, and thorough documentation of files
Required Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of relevant Ontario Accident Benefits experience outside the MIG
  • Completion of CIP designation or a desire to pursue it is preferred
  • Prior insurance experience and knowledge in injury claims and medical rehabilitation concepts preferred
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
