Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Signaling Engineer to lead the design and integration of railway signaling systems for various rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, test, and manage signaling and train control systems for heavy and light rail networks
  • Develop and review signaling system designs and prepare technical documentation including design reports and test plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of signaling systems and oversee commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • P. Eng designation in Ontario, BC, or Alberta
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in rail signaling engineering, including design, installation, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with signaling principles, system architectures, and applicable standards (e.g., CENELEC, AREMA)
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Bentley Rail Track)
