Ontology Scientist - Tennessee Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ontology Scientist for a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain a comprehensive oncology knowledgebase within the Genospace production environment
• Review and analyze information from diverse sources to identify key information for ontology curation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and address data-related issues

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in cancer biology, pharmacology, or related field; Doctorate degree highly preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience within clinical research
• Excellent knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and biomedical research
• Extensive knowledge of key biological signaling pathways and processes of cancer biology
• Familiarity with medical terminology, FDA-approved therapies, and clinical practice guidelines
