Open Source AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a 0to1 Engineer to develop prototypes in open source AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes of developer surfaces, tooling integrations, and applications on open source AI infrastructure
• Collaborate with social media and community teams to create shareable demos that engage developers
• Contribute to open source repositories and stay informed about the open source AI ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and experience with coding agents and AI-assisted development tools
• Experience with the open source AI stack and fluency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience building APIs, developer-facing tools, or integrations
• Ability to work in public open repositories and engage with community feedback
• Strong understanding of what makes a prototype useful for conversations
