Open Source Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Open Source Program Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tools for developing and releasing Open Source software
• Create documentation and training materials for contributing to and maintaining Open Source projects
• Interface with Open Source communities and analyze repository trends and statistics

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 3+ years of experience as a software developer or similar role
• Fluency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience in building productivity tools for engineers
• Empathy and collaboration skills to build strong relationships across teams
• Familiarity with Open Source licenses and Contributor License Agreements is a plus
