Open Source Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Open Source Program Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tools for developing and releasing Open Source software
• Create documentation and training materials for contributing to and maintaining Open Source projects
• Engage with Open Source communities to understand market trends and select new projects for the program

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 3+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or related role
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, C#, or Rust
• Experience in building tools that enhance engineering productivity
• Empathy and collaboration skills to foster relationships across teams
• Familiarity with Open Source licenses and Contributor License Agreements is a bonus
