Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote OpenShift Engineer will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift container platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and developer enablement across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters while applying best practices for scalability and security
- Automate cluster lifecycle operations and onboard application development teams to the platform with clear self-service patterns
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing using the OpenShift observability stack and collaborate with security teams to harden the platform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of experience operating container platforms in production, with at least three years on Red Hat OpenShift
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals, including networking and RBAC
- Strong Linux administration skills and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or Kubernetes using tools like Tekton or Jenkins
