OpenShift Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled OpenShift Engineer, the full-time remote position will design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift container platforms, managing the end-to-end platform lifecycle while collaborating with application teams and security engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters across various environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Automate cluster lifecycle operations and onboard application development teams, providing self-service patterns and CI/CD integrations
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions while hardening the platform in collaboration with security teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience operating container platforms in production, with at least three years on Red Hat OpenShift
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals, along with strong Linux administration skills
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm
• Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or Kubernetes using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD
