OpenShift Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled OpenShift Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing, deploying, and operating enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift container platforms, while managing the end-to-end platform lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters with a focus on high availability, scalability, and security
• Automate cluster lifecycle operations and onboard application development teams to the platform
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions while collaborating with security teams to harden the platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience operating container platforms in production, with at least three years on Red Hat OpenShift
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals, including operators, CRDs, and networking
• Strong Linux administration skills and hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or Kubernetes using tools like Tekton or Jenkins
