Job Summary
To support enterprise accounts in the Michigan/Great Lakes region, the full-time remote OpenShift Sales Specialist will engage with developers, understand their challenges, and lead sales cycles by translating technical solutions into business value while promoting cloud-native transformations.
Key responsibilities
- Earn trust with developers by engaging engineering and platform teams to understand their daily challenges
- Consult with customers to identify business drivers and technical pain points, connecting them to Red Hat solutions
- Lead sales campaigns from discovery through validation and secure technical wins, collaborating with account teams to develop territory plans
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in enterprise software, cloud, or technology sales with technical experience accepted by app development teams
- Comfortable discussing Kubernetes/hybrid cloud architecture and presenting modernization business cases to executives
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud-native ecosystems, with a passion for open source
- Skilled in consultative selling to uncover customer needs effectively
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for both technical and business audiences
