Operating Systems Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operating System Specialist to support the USPS' Network and Compute Technology group.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide incident and deployment support for multiple server operating systems and middle tier applications
• Manage incident response and technical leadership in a complex server and database environment
• Develop and implement procedures for proactive problem detection and disaster recovery planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
• Specialization in Unix/Linux or Windows server administration
• Experience with middle tier technologies and cloud services
• Ability to manage complex hardware and software issues
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for Public Trust clearance
