Operational Accounting Associate

Job Summary

Performing operational accounting activities, the full-time Operational Accounting Associate will process recovery payments, conduct account maintenance, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute recovery payment processing, validations, and exception research
• Maintain customer accounts and manage general ledger transactions
• Collaborate with peers and managers to address issues and meet departmental goals

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of operational accounting support experience or equivalent
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Experience in high-volume data entry and transactional accuracy
• Familiarity with financial services operations such as banking or claims processing
• Ability to follow detailed procedures in a controlled environment
