Operational Risk Manager

Job Summary

To support operational risk management for Wise US Inc. and Wise Canada, the full-time Operational Risk Manager will analyze data, coordinate issue management processes, and prepare reports for senior leadership while working in a hybrid environment based in Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly issues management process, ensuring timely updates and data quality
• Support quarterly Operational Risk assessments by gathering and analyzing relevant data for reporting
• Assist in key risk projects, including new product risk assessments and control mapping

Required qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in operational risk, risk assessments, or incident management
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Experience preparing materials for senior leadership or governance committees
• Ability to facilitate discussions and communicate technical risk concepts effectively
• Must be based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate
