Operations Agent

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Operations Agent will manage the processing of shipments, oversee vendor negotiations, and ensure compliance while coordinating domestic and international logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments while overseeing the shipment lifecycle management
• Negotiate rates with carriers and manage documentation between clients, vendors, and brokers
• Design and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of transportation and/or freight forwarding experience
• Working knowledge of LTL, TL, and expedited ground services
• Experience with spot quotes and major carriers serving Canada and Mexico
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
