Operations Agent - WA
Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Operations Agent - WA will manage shipment processing, vendor negotiations, and operational data accuracy while working weekends from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm PST.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation across the U.S., ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Negotiate rates with carriers and manage the shipment lifecycle, including documentation and tracking
- Design and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and financial performance at the file level
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of transportation and/or freight forwarding experience
- Working knowledge of spot quotes, LTL, TL, and expedited ground services
- Familiarity with international and domestic geography and major carriers
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
