Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Managing claim appeals and coordinating with coders, the full-time Operations Analyst will analyze claims, assist clients and providers with inquiries, and maintain databases while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze claim appeals, collaborating with coders and assisting clients with issue resolution
• Research and manage claim inventory for various billing types, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
• Perform data entry and maintain provider databases, including system claim adjustments based on appeal outcomes

Required qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with two years of experience in an operations or service role; associate's degree accepted without prior experience
• Experience in healthcare or knowledge of medical coding preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently while handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
