Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a 24/7 operations team, the remote contractor Operations Analyst will monitor real-time data from grid-monitoring devices, identify potential issues, and escalate incidents to enhance power grid reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring real-time data streams from field sensors and responding to alerts
• Consistently following SOPs to investigate and localize real-time faults with minimal error
• Collaborating with Supervisors on ad-hoc data requests and following up during ongoing investigations

Required qualifications

• STEM degree (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
• Proficiency in English for effective communication of event information
• Basic understanding of data analytics and anomaly detection
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including night shifts and weekends
• Highly motivated and proactive, capable of performing duties without supervision
