Operations Analyst NERC Certified

Job Summary

To ensure optimal control system performance at renewable energy facilities, the full-time Operations Analyst NERC Certified will monitor real-time operations, track dispatch errors, and troubleshoot control system issues while working onsite in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor facility voltage and real power controls for BESS, PV, and Wind assets to ensure compliance with operational parameters
• Identify and correct dispatch errors through continuous review of unit control system data
• Collaborate with SCADA/Controls Engineering and Operations IT to troubleshoot and resolve operational anomalies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in electrical and power generation
• 3+ years of experience in Control Center Operations
• NERC Certification preferred, required within 12 months of hire if not obtained
• Proficiency in plant and electrical system designs, including relevant software systems
• Knowledge of NERC, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, PJM, and SPP regulations and requirements
