Operations and Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

To support the growth of a fully integrated biotechnology organization, the full-time Operations and Logistics Specialist will manage the operations and logistics for the delivery of marketed products from a U.S. 3PL partner to authorized distributors, with the option to work remotely or from the corporate headquarters in Carlsbad, California.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the movement of finished goods throughout the U.S. distribution ecosystem in collaboration with 3PL partners and distributors
• Manage the creation and maintenance of new business partners within the Ionis ERP Ecosystem (SAP S4/Hana)
• Collaborate with internal functions such as Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, and IT to enhance cross-functional partnerships

Required Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's, Associate, or relevant post-secondary degree, or significant industry experience
• Minimum of 5 years of bio/pharmaceutical experience within a commercial ecosystem
• Strong operational oversight with experience in managing KPIs and SLAs
• General knowledge of the U.S. distribution ecosystem
• Proven ability to assist with projects and initiatives to completion
