Operations Associate, Coverage Detection

Job Summary

To support healthcare operations, the full-time Operations Associate, Coverage Detection will verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients, manage open claims, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Research patient health insurance coverage through various platforms and communication with insurance companies
• Collaborate and communicate with management and stakeholders to address inquiries and escalate issues as needed
• Utilize R1, payer, and client software platforms to manage account information and workflow

Required qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, along with work experience or post-secondary education in medical billing or health information
• Comfortable with phone communication (approximately 25% of the time) and repetitive data review
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
