Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize Linux-based systems in data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain Linux-based systems in on-premises data center environments
• Perform advanced Linux OS troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with various teams to support production services and document systems and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Operations Engineer, or similar role
• Extensive hands-on experience with Linux and strong skills in troubleshooting and performance analysis
• Experience with KVM-based virtualization and familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash) and knowledge of Python or similar languages is a plus
• Strong understanding of system reliability, availability, and capacity planning
