Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and technically curious, the full-time remote Operations Engineer will monitor and investigate production issues, analyze trends in production data, and enhance incident response communication across a global platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor the GTO Operational Dashboard, detect anomalies, and determine incident severity for ticket creation
• Triage and investigate production incidents, performing initial technical assessments and routing to appropriate teams
• Own lower-severity incidents from detection to resolution and support the TSO Lead during major incidents

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production operations within a high-availability environment
• Hands-on experience with Datadog or similar observability platforms and proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English for incident documentation and stakeholder updates
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Previous experience in the gaming industry, understanding live operations dynamics and player expectations
