Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day delivery of managed EDR services, the full-time Operations Engineer will administer and troubleshoot EDR and XDR security platforms in multi-tenant environments while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer CyberMaxx-managed EDR platforms, executing routine configuration, policy maintenance, and health checks
• Investigate endpoint security issues, collecting and analyzing evidence to isolate causes and resolve requests
• Utilize automation tools to perform operational tasks, contribute to service improvements, and maintain operational dashboards

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in endpoint security, EDR operations, or a closely related technical role
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Practical experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints, with familiarity in macOS or Linux being beneficial
• Ability to use PowerShell, Python, or command-line tools for troubleshooting and operational tasks
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
