Operations Insights Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Tax operations team, the full-time Operations Insights Analyst will investigate operational performance, analyze data to uncover patterns, and build reporting infrastructure in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of changes in operational metrics across various workflows
• Collaborate with operations teams to analyze workflows and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Create systems, dashboards, and self-serve reporting tools to enable operational teams to explore performance data independently

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large operational datasets
• Experience building dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations and identify root causes in operational data
• Clear communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
