Operations Lead for Procurement

Job Summary

Owning critical procurement execution, the full-time remote Operations Lead for Procurement will manage the end-to-end supply of lab materials, including forecasting, purchase order execution, and supplier relationship management while mentoring the procurement team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain forecasting models for production materials and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery
• Oversee the purchase order lifecycle and maintain accurate inventory data in NetSuite, including monitoring for excess and obsolete materials
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while developing standard operating procedures for procurement workflows

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials planning with end-to-end workflow ownership
• Proven ability to build forecasting models for multiple material categories
• Strong supplier relationship management skills with a focus on delivery outcomes
• Experience in cost reduction initiatives and vendor negotiations
• Hands-on experience with item master data and ERP systems, particularly NetSuite
