Operations Lead for Scientific Committees

Job Summary

Managing logistics operations for scientific committees, the part-time Operations Lead for Scientific Committees will oversee a distributed team, ensure high-quality execution of deliverables, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of logistics activities in alignment with contract scope and performance standards
• Supervise logistics team members, including task assignments, performance management, and training
• Oversee logistics operations and implement quality control processes to ensure timely and accurate deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics, operations, or project coordination for large-scale programs
• Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or similar federal programs or research consortia
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex operational workflows
• Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising or managing teams of 3-6 staff
