Operations Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs' VHA Finance Product Line, the full-time remote Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, manage incident responses, and drive continuous improvement efforts while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and issue resolution, ensuring smooth workflows and timely incident management
• Provide input on operational challenges and process improvements while championing actionable recommendations
• Utilize tools like Jira and ServiceNow to monitor operational health and manage IT systems documentation

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and experience in incident and service request management
• Proficiency in using Jira and ServiceNow for ITSM workflow management and Agile project tracking
• Previous experience supporting VA Health Finance or federal government IT operations programs
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and cybersecurity compliance frameworks
