Operations Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing IT operations team, the contract-to-hire Operations Manager will provide technical guidance, manage network operations, and ensure the stable operation of the organization's network infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor information systems operations, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Lead the Network Operations Team, prioritizing tasks and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics
• Oversee Help Desk, Hosting, and Security operations, coordinating with various teams to maintain system availability and compliance with security frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking, or Telecommunications
• 7+ years of related experience in IT Operations, including at least 4 years in a people management role
• 5+ years of experience managing SLAs and performance monitoring
• Public trust level 5 security clearance
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred
