Job Summary
Leading a team focused on the transition of clients' 401(k) plans, the full-time remote Operations Manager, Customer Success Operations will manage terminations and deconversions, ensuring high-quality financial transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and develop a team, fostering a culture of precision and accountability in processing financial transactions
- Own quality control processes for the termination and deconversion lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Identify and lead projects to improve and scale team processes, utilizing various systems and automation tools
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of people-management experience in a regulated financial environment, preferably in retirement plan services
- Direct operational experience with 401(k) plan terminations and deconversions
- Strong understanding of the transaction lifecycle within a 401(k) or similar financial product
- Proven ability to design and manage quality control processes and SLAs in a high-stakes environment
- Experience in leading operational improvement projects, including documentation of standard operating procedures
