Operations Manager, Clinical Studies

Job Summary

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Research Department, the full-time Operations Manager, Clinical Studies will oversee budget and contract management, support compliance reporting, and assist in special projects, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Handle operations including accounting, expense reporting, and procurement while forming relationships with legal and external partners
• Manage departmental contracting processes and negotiate contract terms with the legal department
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, analyze variances, and assist in program budget preparation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree preferred
• 3 years of relevant work experience in operations or project management
• Experience in grant project management, preferably in healthcare or clinical trials
• Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting processes
• Proficiency in large-scale purchasing and variance analysis
