Operations Performance Engineer

Job Summary

Leading operational performance for a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage assets, the full-time remote Operations Performance Engineer will manage performance analytics, ensure market readiness, and deliver insights to support commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operational performance platform, ensuring data quality and developing KPIs for fleet performance reporting
• Monitor and analyze fleet performance to identify issues and implement improvements, coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Manage ERCOT operational requirements and support compliance, ensuring assets are dispatch-ready for market participation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, or grid operations
• Strong knowledge of ERCOT market operations and compliance requirements
• Experience with SCADA systems and asset performance management platforms like Power Factors
• Proven ability to analyze operational data and translate it into actionable recommendations
