Operations Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Analyzing and reviewing first line monitoring for Payment and Service Operations, the remote Operations Quality Assurance Sr Specialist will ensure compliance with federal regulations, conduct audits, and implement process improvements while maintaining internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing information requests from management regarding regulatory compliance
• Lead new project implementations and develop audit checklists to address compliance issues and operational gaps
• Monitor Service Operations calls to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to documentation practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
• Five or more years of experience in credit and financial analysis within a financial institution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint
• Strong knowledge of compliance and credit union regulations and practices
• Demonstrated ability to meet individual and team goals while managing multiple tasks effectively
