Operations Research Architect

Job Summary

Driving the optimization and algorithmic strategy for large-scale supply chain systems, the full-time remote Operations Research Architect will develop high-performance mathematical models and algorithms, mentor engineers, and set technical direction within the Product R&D team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the optimization and algorithmic strategy for supply chain systems
• Guide the development of high-performance models that operate on massive datasets
• Mentor senior engineers and researchers while fostering a culture of analytical rigor and engineering excellence

Required qualifications

• PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Extensive experience designing and delivering optimization models and algorithms in production environments
• Deep expertise in mathematical optimization techniques, including linear programming and heuristics
• Proficiency in C++ or similar high-performance programming languages
• Strong experience with commercial solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX) and performance tuning of optimization models
