Operations Strategy Director

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time Associate Director of Operations Strategy & Business Intelligence will manage requirements gathering and workflow design across various systems, focusing on automation and process improvement while collaborating with multiple departments in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering and workflow design across the agency's operational stack, including project management, financial, CRM, HR, and data infrastructure systems
• Map manual steps and system gaps to design solutions that address root causes and implement agentic workflows and automations
• Translate operational pain points into structured problem statements and scoped plans in partnership with Finance, Resourcing, Delivery, HR, and Technology leads

Required qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in operations, product, or systems work within a professional services, agency, or technology environment
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from diverse stakeholders and synthesize inputs into actionable plans
• Hands-on experience building workflows or automations, with proficiency in at least one automation platform and basic scripting (Python and/or JavaScript)
• Experience with commonly used project management platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet, and Atlassian products
• Familiarity with Agile principles and practical experience in designing and deploying agentic pipelines or AI-assisted workflows
