Operations Support Engineer

Job Summary

To support software operations related to genomic technologies, the full-time remote Operations Support Engineer will maintain and monitor technical software systems, resolve customer issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor support systems for technical software, including web applications and genomic software
• Assist in code development and contribute to the design and improvement of support workflows and documentation
• Collaborate with scientists, software engineers, and bioinformaticians to diagnose and resolve technical issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or software engineering
• Demonstrated competency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems; cloud experience is a plus
• Familiarity with genomic software systems is a plus
