Operations Technician II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Technician II.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Broadband network, responding to alarms and customer calls
• Document network failures and maintenance activities, establishing data for problem resolution
• Analyze and resolve trouble situations, managing multiple trouble reports and providing Tier I support

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Broadband / DSLAM network systems and configurations
• Basic understanding of Ethernet router/switch and ATM network equipment
• Familiarity with Element Management Systems (EMS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS)
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in a Network Operations Center is a plus
